Marriage Preparation Program for Engaged Couples

Congratulations on your engagement!

Thank you for your interest in our marriage preparation program. We are excited to get to know you and help you prepare for your marriage! We invite you to watch the short video above to learn more about us and the program.

The decision to marry is one of the most important decisions that anyone can make during his or her life. Couples marry because they have fallen in love, but learning to love, as opposed to being in love, takes a lifetime. Led by a team of dynamic couples and priests, this program will give you the opportunity to discover and put into practice some of the skills necessary to have a successful marriage. In our experience, couples preparing for marriage benefit from mentorship of other married couples where they can learn practical skills for a successful marriage – skills that are learned rather than merely intuited. As you are asking to marry in the Catholic Church, we also want to help you discover the beauty and the meaning of a sacramental marriage.

For more information, please contact the Centre for Marriage, Life and Family at centredmvf@diocesemontreal.org
