Advent time

As Pope Francis has said, “Advent is the time we are given to welcome the Lord who comes to encounter us, and also to verify our longing for God, to look forward and prepare ourselves for Christ’s return.”

Christmas Season

Christmas Season : On Christmas (“Noël” comes from Latin “natalis”, meaning “birth”, “nativity”), Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus, Son of God, awaited Saviour, announced by the prophets. The end of the Christmas season is marked by the Church on the day of the Lord’s baptism (generally the second Sunday of January).
