About
Fr. Thomas Rosica
Ordained a priest in 1986, Fr. Rosica is a member of the Congregation of St. Basil (Basilian Fathers), a biblical scholar, lecturer, author and retreat director. He has studied theology and Sacred Scripture in Toronto, Rome and Jerusalem. He was Pastor and Executive Director of the Newman Centre Catholic Mission at the University of Toronto (1994-2000), Lecturer at the Faculty of Theology of the University of St. Michael’s College, and St. Peter’s Seminary in London, Ontario (1990 – 2018), National Director and CEO of World Youth Day 2002 in Canada and the founding CEO of the Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation in Canada 2003-2019. He worked in the Holy See Press Office as the English language attaché at five Synods of Bishops (2008, 2012, 2014, 2015 & 2017) and was the assistant to the Director of the Holy See Press Office during the Papal transition of 2013 until 2018.
