Spiritual Conversation Method

Let’s learn about our synodal journey – Session 1

Prepare for your role as facilitator for your community’s synodal meeting by learning the Spiritual conversation method. This method will support each person taking part in the synodal meeting in listening to the Holy Spirit, in speaking to the group, and in approaching a communal formulation in response to synodal questions. In the second video, we learn how to apply the method to the approach presented in the Diocesan Handbook.

Let’s learn about our synodal journey – Session 2

Learn how to be a facilitator for a synodal meeting in your community, based on the approach presented in the Diocesan Handbook and adapted to the Spiritual conversation method. Adaptations of the Diocesan Handbook approach should be formulated so as to elicit responses to the two fundamental questions of the synod and to initiate a reflection focused on at least one of the seven elements comprising the statement for a vision of hope.
