THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
The family has worth in and for itself. It is valued as the foundational cell
of society. Society needs the family more than the family needs society. Not
only is it the cell of society, it is also valued as the basic cell of the Church.
May this value of the family live in each one of us and also be born out in
your families, in society and in the Church.
The family is already a school, a school of
humanity. It is a school where a child grows up
learning what it is to be a human being.
As parents, we grow along with our children
and we learn to love the others.
