Teens Festival

The Teen Festival is a lively and joyful experience that invites teens, ages 13-17, to discover or renew their relationship with Christ as well as build relationships with other young people. It is an abridged celebration that fully embodies WYD Montréal through a half-day of engaging talks, authentic testimonies, creative presentations and dynamic activities.

The 2021 edition will take place on November 20, 12 to 5PM. Participants will have the option to either participate in-person ($10 fee) or online for free.

Please note that in-person participants must present their Vaxicode

*Accompanying adults – registration required

A *limited number* of parents, legal guardians, and Youth Ministers recognized by the community may register to accompany minors according to Responsible pastoral ministry policies. Mission Jeunesse reserves the right to limit adult particpation to maximize the participation of teens.

Main Session

In the main session, the theme of WYD is explored and made relevant to the reality of teenagers with the help of speakers and authentic testimonials.

Variety Show

The Variety Show showcases the diverse talents of teens at the Teen Festival of WYD Montreal. Young people, ages 13-17, will be able to participate in five categories: dance, music, slam poetry, photography and other. They will be invited to submit videos that showcase their talents. The show will be broadcast live on Saturday, November 20, for the Teen Festival participants, both in person and online.

Shrimp Game

Climb the ranks with your team to win the Shrimp Game. In a series of modified childhood games, teams must work together using strategy and skill to earn the most points by the end. However, teams may spend points to gain helpful perks.

Teams will be randomly assigned from both online and in-person participants.
